Building Trust With The Blindfolded Pickleball Play Drill
Hello all my leaders who are pickleball players and all my pickleball players who are leaders. Trust is the foundation of any strong team. Whether you’re part of a community group or a corporate team, building trust and accountability among members is crucial. Today, let’s explore an exciting way to strengthen trust within your team using the Blindfolded Play Drill in pickleball.
Trust and accountability can sometimes be challenging to cultivate, especially in a busy work environment. The Blindfolded Play Drill offers a unique and engaging solution. Here’s how it works: Pair up your players and blindfold one of them. The blindfolded player must rely on verbal cues from their partner to play the game. After a set amount of time, switch roles so everyone gets a chance to lead and follow.
This drill strengthens trust and teaches your team to rely on each other and communicate effectively. It’s a fantastic way to build mutual reliance and ensure that everyone understands the importance of clear instructions and support. In the workplace, you can use trust-building exercises during team activities where team members must rely on each other without full information, enhancing mutual reliance and accountability.
